Her professional journey began in 2006 in dementia and Alzheimer’s care, where she discovered her calling to serve seniors and their families with patience and empathy. She later transitioned into high-acuity skilled nursing settings, gaining extensive experience in facilities with ventilator units and complex medical needs. These diverse experiences have shaped her into a well-rounded leader who understands the balance between clinical precision and human connection.

Bernadette is known for her team-oriented leadership style, believing that the best outcomes are achieved when staff work together with trust and respect. Originally from Arizona, Bernadette relocated to Texas in 2005 and has since dedicated her career to serving the state’s senior population. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is a proud mother of two daughters and values the importance of family both at home and within the community she serves.
