A nursing center can provide the continuing medical care and rehabilitation services you need while you recover from illness or injury so that you can return home as soon as possible. We offer the same services as a hospital, but in a more home-like setting. We have doctors, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and wound care specialists on site.
You and your loved one should look at several facilities before making a selection. Make sure you ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable.
We do accept Medicaid. We accept most insurance companies including Integrated Health Plan, Inc., Community Health Choice, America’s Choice Provider Network (ACPN), Anicare, Molina Healthcare of Texas, Inc., Multiplan, Inc., National Preferred Provider Network/Plan Care America LLC, WellCare, United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) Health & Retirement Funds, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield Out-Of-State Plans, Care Improvement Plus, Coventry Health Plans, Humana, Prime Health Services, Three Rivers Provider Network, Tricare/Humana Military Healthcare Services, United Health Care. We offer both short and long term care. We are a skilled nursing center that specializes in short, long and rehabilitation stays.
We do require residents to bring their own medications with them when they come to our facility.
At our community, the daily cost includes meal service, housekeeping, amenity fees, and cost of care.
Our services and amenities include:
- Furnished rooms
- Cable ready rooms
- Wifi Internet access provided throughout the entire facility
- Providing all medical equipment in the cost of stay
- Beauty/Barber services
- Transportation including shopping trips and restaurants near the facility
- Various activities occurring everyday
Under most circumstances, we are a 24 hour facility where you can visit your loved one at any time, however, please check with the admissions office for up-to-date visitation restrictions. Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
We encourage you to spend as much time with your loved one as possible. If you wish to share a meal with them during your visit, please contact the front office.
If a loved one is only staying short term we recommend bringing comfortable clothing and a few personal belongings and favorite toiletries to make their stay as welcoming as possible. We provide all of the furniture and equipment so there is no need to haul everything from home! Let us take care of that for you so you and your family can be focused on the recovery process.
